  • Log Bar Trainer: Bench Pressing

Our Log Bar Trainer is designed to simulate the log bar movement that you see in the strongman contests. It has parallel grip handles which have been found to be effective for a variety of uses, some of which were discussed in Maximum Bob Whelan's column in Hardgainer magazine. GREAT FOR BENCH PRESSING! PARALLEL GRIP REVOLUTION: Many of our customers have found standard bench pressing is too hard on their shoulders as they age. Now they are able to bench again, using a parallel grip log bar trainer! This WILL fit in any Bench Press or Squat Rack that holds a 2 inch diameter bar. Approximate weight is 68 pounds. It takes only Olympic, 2" hole diameter, plates and does not have revolving ends. This is a COMMERCIAL GRADE item that we are trying to keep in stock. We typically have no more than a couple at a time. If we are backordered, we will let you know, but re-stocking takes no more than 6 weeks. If we have a run come off the line faster than that, we will ship it. img src="http://atomicathletic.com/store/images/products/Log Bar Trainer 2.jpg" We have updated our Log Bar Trainer so that it is heavier duty, has better knurling and more closely replicates a classic wooden log with a 10 Inch Diameter. With our exclusive NEW design, we can do CUSTOM handles in 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" and 2 3/4" diameters. Remember, our standard stocking size is 1 1/4". All CUSTOM pieces are made to order and NOT stocked. Call us at (419)352-5100 for pricing and details. Don't worry. We have not turned this into one of those wrist breaking, forearm slicing pipes...
