Need Old Time?
Atomic Athletic is your place!
Grip master John Brookfield has a pair of these, and you should too! Lets see...Old time performing strongman, needs something unusual for his act. Where does he go?
According to the Iranian/Persian Martial Arts tradition, the heavy Indian Clubs or Meels are used for building the practitioner's strength.

Heavy meels range from 25 lbs. to 60 lbs. each, and the height can be as tall as 4.5 feet.
These clubs weigh in around 28 pounds and will put you in your place. There used to be a video on his website of John Brookfield "doing his thing" with these babies. Now you too can join the ranks of the Varzesh-e Pahlavani.
These clubs have a unique and wonderful feel to them that can't be duplicated in iron. If you are searching for a way to develop total upper body power and surprisingly enough, grace as well, these clubs will make it happen!
The old-school wrestler, the Iron Sheik, used to have a pair of his own heavy clubs that he would challenge the audience with. He was never defeated...
All of our meels are now painted traditional green with a polyurethaned natural wood color handle. We have done a lot of customization over the years, such as adding the Iranian flag or clear coating the clubs. If you want customization, you must call us first. Customizing always adds to your lead time.
Approximately 4-6 WEEKS lead time to ship date. This item is NEVER in stock. They are all made to order, like ALL of our larger clubs. They take 4-6 business weeks to ship out. The week between Christmas and New Year's Day is NOT a business week.
