Skinning That Cat!
Apologies to the cat lovers out there, and to Matisse, our cat. However, there really is more than one way to skin that cat. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, as least when it comes to strength training.
I have my Tendon & Ligament Strength Training DVD which is a great companion to the 72 Consummate Arts Secrets of the Shaolin Temple , but I have never claimed that the methods in that DVD are the ONLY way to do it.

I recently picked up the actual Shaolin temple's authorized "Muscle Tendon Change Classic DVD". I know that this is just the first step of their method, because I met them at their temple in New York City and saw some of this stuff. This is the first qigong form created by the founder of Shaolin Kungfu and Zen, Bodhidarma. According to legend, Bodhidharma (aka Ta Mo) created the form to inspire the monks of Shaolin and strengthen their bodies for prolonged meditation.

This DVD does not just show you a guy going through some movements. It actually breaks it all down and describes it all in detail. You will learn proper breathing techniques, postures and the timed holds that are so vitally important. This is the stuff that forms the cornerstone of everything they do.
If you already have the Atomic Athletic Tendon & Ligament Strength Training DVD or the 72 Consummate Arts Secrets of the Shaolin Temple , then this is what you need for further study and clarity. It also stands on it's own. This is another method of strengthing those tendons and skinning that cat.
